about

Ladies and gentlemen, use your imaginations and travel to the future!
All the way to year 2000. Yes this is the time The Thin Crawl began messing around with beeping noise robots and battery powered drum machines. They evolved their sound to what can only be described as a New Order-Gary Numan cyborg!

The band’s sound is dark and pulses with the footsteps of a robot invasion, and their live shows were something out of Blade Runner. Smokey police beacons shooting blue tubes of light through the creatively dressed crowd of the New York underground. TTC preformed across the Dark Wave scene for 5 years at such hot spots like Limelight, CBGB’s, Webster Hall and many more of New York’s night time dwellings.

Their final show was at the famous underground party of Decadanse at The Rock Star Bar in Brooklyn NY. The band (then 3 members) recall a moment on stage when the fog machine malfunctioned and blasted an enormous plume of smoke. “It was like we were in a white room with this wall of thick mist in front of us...the stage was totally separated from the crowd...it felt like we were all alone!”, says vocal / electronic percussionist Wren Britton (now or Pure Vile fame).
